it's just you and us....

Can we say Hurley has gone to his new home now? We didn't get to show off our own puppy!

Hopefully Hurley doesn't mind hanging out his Momma 24/7...hopefully he thinks Roxy is just as cool as his brothers and sisters were.

I think he and Roxy and perplexed right now that it's just them two. And, it doesn't help that Roxy is on her usual comfy spot on the couch and Hurley is left by his lonesome on his pillow, on the floor. Poor Puppy!

Well, thanks for following along on our adventure. Check back in the future to find out about updates and when the next litter will be available ;-)

Phil and Thrasher

It is with great sadness and excitment that we sent home our final puppy, Thrasher. Thrasher has always had a special place in our hearts...he was our runt after Princess Baby and Angel Puppy didn't make it and we worked hard to fatten him up and help him along. Not to mention his adorable, wrinkly face.
I just looked back on the pictures when they were first born! It's amazing at how fast they have grown and that 9.5 weeks have gone by so quickly.

Thrasher loved to help me when I was loading up the dishwasher. He always climbed right in and licked the utensils! I will miss his sweet little face and those puppy dog eyes...he knew how to work them!
We know Phil is going to have lots of fun with him. Phil helps out at his family's local business, which is down the street from us. We will enjoy visiting Thrasher there on the weekends! Congratulations, Phil. Oh, and his new name could be Harvey...
And, look, Thrasher and Phil are already best buds!

SHE IS THE MELODY IN THEIR ♥

Dora, also known as, Melody or Mel...has taken up her residence in the Akin home. She is among some four legged friends, too! She has Mack the cat...and apparently they have hit it off! And, Toby the....I can't remember what he is...and I don't know if he likes Mel, either!

She is getting lots of belly rubs and royal treatment there!

The fun thing about Mel's new family is our connection with them...Zach works with John and I went to high school with Christine (Chris). They have two kids, Christopher and Riane...

And, thank you John, for not naming her Ethel!

Bullies Update

I got a call this afternoon about Bullie. She is doing great! She only cried for about 5 minutes last night and hardly had any accidents!

Her new family L♥VES her!

I am so happy for all our puppies and their new homes!

Melting ♥'s already

Here is Nora's update...I don't know her new name yet (hint, hint)...

She had a little upset stomach last night. Lol!!! She threw up some twigs and leaves. Lol!!!! Then she slept fine. We laughed at it because two of our friends puppies would chew on twigs in their backyards. She ate this morning just fine. I let the food soak for about 15-20 min to soften up and she gobbled it all up, peed, pooped and fell asleep. I can tell she wants to go outside to go potty. Ha!!! She pees on the carpet and poops on the lenolium. That is just fine with us. before she fell asleep last night, she was a little fart monster. Lol!!! We kept laughing each time we smelled her. Ha!!!! She didnt want to sleep between us last night too long, but when I put her bed in a big blue plastic bin, she fell asleep right away. I think it reminded her of the box and felt secure. She is just melting our hearts!!!!!!

Rocky is AWESOME!!

Here is how Rocky's first night away from Momma and Siblings went...

It went really well. He's settled in pretty good. Mark slept on the floor with
him since he was whining and missing his mama. His potty training is going
good too. He did have a few little accidents but if I take him outside alot he
goes every time. He took a few little naps on my chest yesterday and this morning.
He slept all night and woke up about 5:45am which is ok because that's when
Mark gets up for work. He is sooo darn cute to watch and play with! He does
such funny little things already....We had alot of friends visit yesterday. It was fun!
He threw up in the car on the way home but by the time we could pull over he already
had ate his throw up back up. Yuck! Our old dog used to do that.
It's funny to see Rocky and our cat together. Our cat is not too sure about everything
and is jealous but he's declawed so he just hisses if the puppy is too close.
He's teething on everything but loves all his new toys. He is so awesome and we
are sooo happy!!!! Thank you soo much!!!

3 LITTLE BULLIES WAITIN' TO GO HOME...

Well, techinally, 2...since Hurley is already home!
We said our "see you soons" to Nora. We are interested to find out what her new name will be! Our little firecracker of the bunch, but as sweet as could be when we loved on her. She didn't realize she was the smallest, either. We called her the "spokesperson" for the all the puppies. She would whine when it was time to nurse/eat, go potty, etc. I think Dora is going to miss her little twinsie!
Roxy looks a little sad right now. She stood on the porch and watched Nora drive away with her new mommy and daddy. Poor girl! As much as she gets annoyed with them, she has been a great momma! Better than we ever expected!

and then there were 4...

Not even an hour later, our sweet little Bullie went home to take her thorne as the princess of her new home. I liked Bullie's markings. She looks like she has eye make-up on. She is so pretty!

Now our head count is at 4...

When Bullies Auntie and Grandma came to pick her up, I did a head count and only counted 5. I started thinking who am I missing, and then realized that was right-- Rocky already went home.

See you, Bullie!

See you soon, Rocky!

We had to say good-bye to our first puppy this morning. Oh, it was bittersweet. We love all these little pupps so much! But, we know they are going home to good, caring, loving homes. We'll miss them all terribly!

Rocky was the first to leave this morning! His new family is so excited :-) We will miss his cute tail wagging to tell us he is happy. He has such a unique tail for a bullie!

We are looking forward to seeing pictures of our little guy and maybe even a playdate in the future!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO CHRIS & KELLY!

We are so happy that our little girl Nora has a new home to go to! She is going to be so loved and spoiled by her new owners!

What is even more exciting is that her new owners live in the same town as us! We can have doggie playdates :-)

It was tough for Chris and Kelly to decide. I don't blame them, all those cute puppy faces and wrinkes! We wish we could keep them all, too!

I think their decision was great! It was who I secretly hoped they would pick in my mind, anyways. Nora wears their team colors, so it was a match made in heaven!! GO RAIDERS! (That is just for Chris and Kelly, I am really an Eagles fan!)
